Kingman, Feb 8 -- William E. Dark, 78, retired farmer, died at 1:30 o'clock Wednesday morning at his home in Kingman. He had been ill several weeks. Born Feb 26, 1871, Mr. Dark was the son of Joseph and Emma Stull Dark. He married Effie Cory Sept 23, 1895. Surviving are the widow; 3 daughters, Mrs. Mildred Bowman, Waveland; Mrs. Mabel Bennett, Danville, Ill; and Mrs. Cybil Shuler of Wallace; 3 grandsons, a brother, Thomas Dark of Kingman and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 2 o'clock Friday afternoon at the Kingman Evangelical United Brethren Church with burial at Fraternal Cemetery, Rev. HA Lashbrook will officiate. - kbz
